PATRONAGE
Many thanks to our RiderMan patrons:
Sven Hinterseh (District Administrator of the Schwarzwald-Baar district), Stefan Bär (District Administrator of the Tuttlingen district) and Jonathan Berggötz (Mayor of the City of Bad Dürrheim)

Dear cycling friends,
This major sporting event – the RiderMan – has been taking place in the Schwarzwald-Baar district for over a quarter of a century. As one of the patrons, together with the District Administrator of the Tuttlingen District and the Mayor of the City of Bad Dürrheim, I am very proud to be part of this tradition-rich event and warmly welcome you to the 25th anniversary edition in one of Germany's most beautiful cycling destinations.
The RiderMan promises to be a special highlight in the cycling calendar again in 2025. With exciting new features and tried-and-tested elements, the event offers something for every cycling enthusiast. For the first time, the route on Sunday will even lead into our neighboring district of Tuttlingen – a premiere that is sure to generate excitement. The popular three-stage race from Friday to Sunday is already enjoying greater popularity than last year, giving rise to hope for a new record number of participants. In addition to the established race, spectators can also look forward to two German Championships in the U17 junior category on Friday and Saturday. This promises a top-class sporting program that is sure to attract cyclists from all over Germany to our region, and especially to the Schwarzwald-Baar district.
Our district has a lot to offer – for its residents, but also for its guests. First and foremost, this fascinating landscape, a healthy climate, and a consistently high quality of life characterize the Black Forest-Baar district and therefore offer the ideal conditions for all kinds of sporting activities. Especially in a district where we place great value on nature and environmental protection, as well as environmentally friendly transportation, cycling simply makes sense. I am therefore all the more pleased that, for well over 20 years now, cycling as a purely recreational activity has increasingly been combined with competitive and sporting aspects, as these further enhance the appeal of our cycling landscape. We have routes on the Baar plateau that are perfect for family tours, but also for those who want to "cover the trails" or simply relax. In the western part of the district, in the Black Forest, ambitious mountain bikers and e-bikers feel more at home. Our landscapes offer the right routes for all abilities.
The RiderMan is therefore not only a major sporting event, but also a wonderful opportunity to showcase the beauty and diversity of our region. I wish all participants, organizers, and spectators exciting and successful competitions and unforgettable moments.
With sporting greetings

District Administrator of the Schwarzwald-Baar District

Dear visitors,
Dear cycling fans,
With the RiderMan, one of Germany's most prestigious cycling events returns to our region in a new format in its anniversary year of 2025. For the 25th time, cycling enthusiasts from Germany and abroad will meet in Bad Dürrheim, and for the first time, a significant portion of the route will run through the Tuttlingen district. I am therefore delighted to be able to assume the patronage of this special event together with my colleague, District Administrator Sven Hinterseh.
The RiderMan not only represents athletic achievement, but also something that is particularly dear to me as a district administrator: good cooperation across district borders. The RiderMan 2025 is a successful example of how districts and municipalities can work together to make a difference. We have enjoyed a close working relationship with the Schwarzwald-Baar district for many years. The fact that this partnership is now reflected in a major sporting event underscores the strength of intermunicipal cooperation.
My special thanks go to the organizers and everyone involved, as well as to the athletes who make this event possible. I would also like to thank the towns and communities in the Tuttlingen district who support the races through their towns. Geisingen, Talheim, Seitingen-Oberflacht, Durchhausen, Gunningen, Spaichingen, and Hausen ob Verena represent a region open to new ideas and willing to take on responsibility. The Tuttlingen district is characterized by scenic diversity, a high quality of life, and strong civic engagement – ideal conditions for an event like the RiderMan.
I wish all participants fair races, good conditions, lasting impressions, and a successful anniversary for the event with many sporting highlights.
Stefan Bär
District Administrator of the Tuttlingen District

Dear cycling friends,
A quarter century of RiderMan – this is not only an impressive sporting success story, but also a truly heartfelt project for our town. As Mayor of Bad Dürrheim, I am delighted to welcome you to the anniversary edition of this special cycling event.
In Bad Dürrheim, sport, nature, and joie de vivre come together in a unique way. Our town stands for exercise, health, and togetherness, and the RiderMan reflects this very essence. Over the past few decades, we have not only made a name for ourselves as a spa town with three distinct distinctions, but also as an active center of cycling: Whether at the German Road Cycling Championships, legendary events with Jan Ullrich, or the Jan Ullrich Museum – cycling is now firmly anchored in our town.
And the RiderMan is a highlight, a permanent fixture in our annual events calendar. Year after year, our roads become a stage for top sporting performances. The mix of challenging routes, beautiful scenery, and genuine hospitality makes Bad Dürrheim a perfect location for this race. The three stages lead through the Baar region, into the Black Forest, and this year, for the first time, even into the Tuttlingen district. This demonstrates how diverse our region is – both scenically and athletically. I'm particularly pleased that the spotlight is once again on young talent: with two German Championships, a strong signal for the future of cycling!
My sincere thanks go to everyone who makes this event possible: the organizers, the many dedicated volunteers, and the Kur- und Bäder GmbH, which provides experiences and joie de vivre with fantastic events throughout the year. A special thanks goes to Sauser Event GmbH: For many years, they have organized the RiderMan with a wealth of experience, passion, and professionalism. Without them, the RiderMan would not be what it is today—a cycling event of the highest caliber, with a reputation that extends far beyond the region.
We in Bad Dürrheim are delighted to be hosting this special cycling event and warmly welcome the athletes and guests from near and far.
I wish all participants fair and successful races, unforgettable experiences and very special memories of Bad Dürrheim and the anniversary RiderMan.
With sporting greetings
